Mürren Suggested	Hotel Eiger From Paul F: "Mürren, a car free village of about 350 residents, sits on a plateau at 1,656 meters above sea level. It can only be reached by incline and then narrow gauge RR from the village of Lauterbrunnen, which is a few miles south of Interlaken. Although the Hotel Eiger in Mürren is a larger hotel it is indeed family run (same family, Stahli von Allmen, since its founding in 1886). The incline ride, the train ride and views from the Hotel and the village in general are among the most breathtaking I have ever experienced in our frequent travels."
